According to the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (@AHRQNews) “Patient experience encompasses the range of interactions that patients have with the health care system, including their care from health plans, and from doctors, nurses, and staff in hospitals, physician practices, and other health care facilities.” How can understanding patient experience improve and advance patient-centered care? What aspects of health care delivery fall under the umbrella of patient experience? We will explore answers to these questions and all of the ins and outs of patient experience in this series.

OST Launches CareCircle
A Grand Rapids business is picking up where CarePages, the now defunct website where patients provided health updates to friends and family, has left off. OST (@OSTgr), a business technology and IT consulting firm, launched CareCircle earlier this month, a website modeled after CarePages that gives hospital patients the ability to share updates on a secure website rather than social medial platforms like Facebook.
OST is proud to announce the launch of CareCircle. CareCircle allows hospitals to help their patients share ongoing health updates and stories with their family and friends.
